STOCKER

DEPARTMENT: STOCKING

I. QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Must be able to read, write, basic mathematical skills and comprehend instructions

II. SUMMARY
The Stocker is a member of a team, who will stock merchandise within company productivity and accuracy standards.
The duties will include stocking/restocking warehouse merchandise bins. Operate and maintain motorized equipment.
He/She should be able to handle repetitive tasks. He/She should be able to work independently with minimal supervision,
as well as possess the ability to work in a team environment.

III. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

A. Read merchandise tickets

B. Read warehouse bin labels

C. Responsible for and operate hand held scanner. This includes understanding information and instructions on the screen
and entering information on an alphanumeric keypad

D. Using motorized equipment, pull merchandise from overstock or from the appropriate holding hole and place in the
appropriate warehouse bin

E. Operate motorized equipment (3 wheel cart, pallet jack, or fork lift)

F. Ensures productivity and accuracy standards are met

G. Observe and practice safety procedures

H. Maintain safe/clean work environment

I. Adhere to company policies and procedures

J. Perform assignments deemed necessary and/or directed to achieve goals and objectives of the department.
